My name is Haley and I'm actually one half of an elite-educated, experienced, clean, passionate, and friendly Aupair couple who have been and worked together for about six years now.

Hi there!

My name is Haley and I'm actually one half of an elite-educated, experienced, clean, passionate, and friendly Aupair couple who have been and worked together for about six years now.

Sam (the other half of the couple) and I both recently graduated from an elite university in the United States where I (Haley) studied Developmental Psychology and Sam studied Mathematics and Statistics.

We complement each other so very well and believe we can offer a lot more as a couple than we ever could individually. However, we feel it's important to note that we would not require separate pay or double the pay or anything like that. We have money saved and we are a lot more focused on what we can offer your family and what your family can offer us by way of experience, kindness, and a warm home.

Sam (age 23):
"I grew up on the eastern coast of the United States (Kitty Hawk, North Carolina) where I enjoyed surfing, swimming, fishing, hiking, and everything sports related. I was an innovative child and enjoyed building things and exploring the outdoors -- especially with my elder brother. At age 12, I traveled to the Netherlands for two weeks for an international wrestling summer camp. In university, I primarily studied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Biology and served as a teaching assistant for some of my lecture courses -- I love teaching! I am a hard worker, fast learner, and love helping others. During the summer of 2017, I served as a summer camp counselor for the Duke Talent Identification Program where I supervised (and lived with) a chord of 15-20 gifted secondary education students ages 14-18. In my down time, you may find me holding a classic work of fiction, reading about the newest statistical programming tools on my computer, or exploring the city of Durham, NC with Haley."

Haley (age 24):
I grew up in the same town as Sam and we have been together since secondary school (~6 years now). As a child and as an adult, I enjoy reading, going on adventures, and dancing -- in particular ballet. Sam says I am a very compassionate person whose patience is only rivaled by my intellect. I was offered the opportunity to skip a grade in school and I won a scholarship to attend university. During my time at uni, I worked in an Early Child Development lab where I studied the learning and development of children with emphasis given to social and emotional development. Halfway through my undergraduate studies, I took a year off to live in London, UK and Atlanta, GA. I currently spend her time blogging about current research and trends in the fields of women's health and fashion.

We are both very passionate about entertaining, mentoring, and teaching children and view this experience as an opportunity to live and travel while being a part of a family and not too far away from our passions for teaching and mentoring prior to pursuing graduate-level education in the United States.

During the winter of 2017, we spent two weeks in London, UK exploring the city and becoming more cultured and would like to have a similar (and longer-term) experience living in Europe and meeting new people.

We hope to find a family that will introduce us to new ideas, locations, and individuals which may help enrich our lives.
