Visa for au pairs and nannies for Australia

VISA TYPE(S) FOR AU PAIRS
    Working Holiday Visa (Subclass 417) or a Work and Holiday Visa (Subclass 462).
    – Must be 18 to 30 years old (inclusive)
    – Must have a passport from an eligible country
    – Must not be accompanied by dependent children.
    Subclass 462: up to a year, Subclass 417: up to a year.
    You must hold a valid passport from an eligible country.
    NATIONALITY POSSIBILITIES FOR VISA APPLICATIONS: In order to go to Australia under the Working Holiday Program, an au pair must be a national of one of the following countries: Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan or the United Kingdom.
    The Australian Work and Holiday Program is available for au pairs from the following countries: Bangladesh, Chile, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey and the USA.
    – Invitation letter from host family to au pair, stating all details and conditions of the au pair / nanny job (dates and duration, working hours, salary, insurance, duties & responsibilities of both parties etc)
    – Signed contract / agreement between host family and au pair
    – Adequate visa application forms and fees etc.

    From 1 July 2019, WHM visa holders who carry out 6 months of specified work in regional areas while on their second Working Holiday (subclass 417) visa or Work and Holiday (subclass 462) visa may be eligible to apply for a third visa. Eligible types of work and regional areas will correspond with the requirements for the second visa.
