My name is Nathália, I am 20 years old and live with my parents, Beth and Joseph, an older sister, Debora, who is 22 and a lovely dog, we have a great living together, and I love them so.
I have been working as a bank employee for more than one year. At night I take business classes at Mackenzie University. I took English classes for 6 years, and hold 2 Cambridge certificates- PET and FCE.
During my leisure times I like reading, hiking, cycling, going to the movies, hanging out with my friends and traveling everywhere. I also love to practice all kind of sports, to play, dance, and take walks on the park. I can play with children and I don’t have to pretend that I´m having fun, because I really do! I took my drive license in march, and I have a clean record, I have never been in a car accident and always followed the rules. I also have no problem driving with kids on the car. I am very tender, easygoing, cheerful and joyful. I am always trying to see the bright side on everything. At the same time I am mature, patient, trustworthy and responsible; I´m someone that knows what needs to be done and does it, that can work without a lot of supervision. Family is truly important to me, I always try to be around and careful to mine.
I am creative, I like to draw, paint, do arts & crafts! I also like to play, dance, read and take walks on the park. I believe that innovation is very important, and it would be great to teach and learn a lot with the child/children. I took swimming classes for 2 years when I was younger, and I have no problem in watching kids while they swim. I enjoy sports and outdoors activities and also cultural/art related activities, so there will be no problem to find out something to do while kids are out of school! I really enjoy working with children because they learn and have fun at the same time.
I have had some nany experience here in Brazil, I took care of my neighbor's kids, 3 and 6 years old, for more than one year, and it was terrific. I am also a volunteer at a day care center; I look after kids around 2-7 years old. I believe that it is possible to be tough and loving at the same time, and always with respect. I believe children should be listened and treated as individuals, violence leads to nowhere. They are all special in their own way and they always have something interesting to say! Childhood is a unique time of our lives, full of new experiences and I am truly looking forward to share those experiences with your family! While having lots of fun!
The main reason I chose to be an Au Pair is I love children and I have many hours of experience with them, so when I was looking for an exchange program and found this one I was decided to be an Au Pair! My experience with kids has been amazing. They have taught me a lot. Being their babysitter has also helped me to grow because I became more patient, responsible, and mature and realized how important can be our affect on their lives.
After finishing my time as an Au-Pair, I hope to finish my degree and work in a multinational company in Brazil, where my English skills will prove essential.
